Samsung Internet Browser released for Windows

The standard Samsung browser has finally become available in the desktop version. The Samsung Internet page has appeared in the Microsoft store; you can install the program on any computer with Windows 10 or 11.

When launched, the browser will offer to import your browsing history, bookmarks, and search engine settings from Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. The browser even offers to add Chromium extensions - including from the Chrome store - but early users complain that the function does not yet work correctly and they cannot install extensions.

You can also synchronize the browser with the mobile version - to do this, just log into your Samsung account. But transferring this way will only result in the same settings as when moving from Chrome and Edge: you won’t be able to synchronize saved passwords.
